Our History dates back to the early 90s when a young, first-generation entrepreneur, Mr. VivekVerma, in 1994, at the age of 23, embarked on his journey with a small yarn agency company in Ludhiana, catering to the export market across the globe.

Over the years, Square Corporation has turned into one of the most significant Yarn sourcing and exporting companies in the world, with additional business verticals in India textile manufacturing (spinning), real estate, apparel, and hospitality. The company is built on strong principles of stakeholder value creation. With over 3 decades of responsible work practices, Square Corporation continues to grow its footprint around the globe.

Sustainability Initiatives

At Square Corporation, sustainability is a core value that guides our operations. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact and promoting responsible practices throughout our supply chain. To achieve this, we have made significant strides in offering sustainable products. Currently, 30% of our yarn production is from organic cotton, which is produced without the use of harmful chemicals, pesticides and reduces water consumption.

Additionally, we actively engage in the promotion of recycled yarn and natural fibres like linen, Hemp, providing our customers with eco-friendly alternatives that creates a circular economy.

Our Corporate head office is proud to have achieved the prestigious LEED Platinum certification, which signifies our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Through careful design, construction, and operation, our office has been optimized to minimize its impact on the environment.One of our major accomplishments is achieving zero emissions, meaning that we have successfully eliminated the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. This has been made possible through the integration of energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy sources, and the implementation of waste reduction and recycling practices. As a LEED Platinum office, we prioritize resource conservation, indoor air quality, and occupant comfort, ensuring that our workspace is not only environmentally friendly but also promotes a healthy and productive work environment for our employees.

At Araiya Resort, sustainability is a top priority, and we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint in all areas. One of the steps we have taken is to eliminate single-use plastic bottles by using glass bottles instead. By providing guests with refillable glass bottles, we significantly reduce the amount of plastic waste generated. Additionally, we encourage our guests to participate in our towel reuse program. Rather than automatically washing towels every day, we kindly request guests to indicate if they would like to have their towels replaced.
